i) Duties and responsibilities
• Organizes and performs all maintenance activities.
• Ensures that all maintenance and repairs of equipment are carried out in a safe and efficient manner and in strict compliance with company operating procedures and any relevant statutory legislation in order to maintain all such equipment in sound and safe operating condition.
• Performs daily work activities, in accordance with his individual job/task procedures, checking that the quality of work is acceptable before the equipment is returned to service.
• Ensures that all equipment are restarted and running efficiently after been repaired
• Reviews any work carried out by contractors to ensure it has been efficiently executed to an acceptable standard.
• Performs correct electrical commissioning activities prior to start up any equipment or any system subject to modification.
• Forwards to his Supervisor/Engineer all maintenance intervention requests.
• Ensures that all spare parts are correctly stored
• Reports to his Supervisor any anomaly in the spares inventory available on site.
ii) Requirement
• Minimum Cert or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or;
• Two or more years’ experience – testing, repair and troubleshooting at component level.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with failure analysis and knowledge of software interfacing.
• Excellent soldering skills.
• Experience working with standard test equipment and hand tools, including oscilloscopes, signal/function generators, and computers.
• Ability to read schematic and datasheets.
• Extensive understanding of electronic theory.
• Have knowledge in Three Phase Electrical power will be taken as advantage.
• Very commitment and discipline person, in same time can work under stress.
• Capable works and troubleshoot with independent in minimal supervision from Supervisor.
• Will be based at Kuala Baram, Miri, Sarawak
