Operations Manager – Edra Power Holdings Sdn Bhd – Federal Territory/Kuala Lumpur

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DUTIES
Responsible for the whole operations activities at the Power Station including the integration of certain maintenance activities, in compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety requirements and within designated stipulated regulation capabilities of the Contracts, the Grid Company and Customer dispatch requirements.
Ensure safety come first, quality foremost and pursuing excellence among all staff to achieve company vision and goal.
Support the Power Station Manager in meeting the contractual, technical and commercial targets of the Power Station.
Manage and ensure that the Power Station operates safely in accordance with the regulations and requirements of the grid company and the instructions of the Customer.
Manage and ensure the operation of the Power Station and co-ordinate the integration of daily maintenance activities, setting priorities on a daily basis and defining operational concerns for long term planning.
Manage and directly supervise safe working systems that cover all activities in the Power Station, maintain a high safety conscious working environment and ensure compliance with all company and legislative Safety and Health requirements.

Manage and ensure an adequate system of operational control exists for all environmental aspects and ensure compliance with all company and legislative environmental requirements.
Manage and ensure procedures are in place that allow effective management of the Power Purchase Agreement and all Fuel Supply Agreements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Bachelor of Electrical or Mechanical or Electronic Engineering from a recognized higher learning institution.
Possess Certified DOSH Steam Engine Engineer Grade 1, Certified DOSH Internal Combustion Engine Engineer Grade 1, Certified Authorized Entrant and Standby Person and Authorised Person for Permit to Work procedure.
