KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DUTIES
The Field Operator is a member of the shift operations team, responsible for efficient and reliable operations of the Combined Cycle Power Plant and its Auxiliaries. From time to time, when operational needs arise, extra responsibilities may be given to the post holder.
To carry out field monitoring of the Gas Turbine (GT), Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG), Ancillaries and BOP operations of the Combined Cycle Power Plant in safe and optimal manner in accordance to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) limits and in compliance of statutory standards to fulfil customer’s demand and accomplish business objectives.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled operational and machinery tests with the guidance of the Shift Charge Engineer.
Identify and correct the operational and safety deviations and escalate to Shift Charge Engineer (SCE).
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, and Control Instrumentation Engineering from higher leaning institutes or Technical Certificate in any discipline with no less than 5 years‘ experience in the CCPP operations.
Optional requirement; Steam Engine Driver Grade 1, Internal
Combustion Engine Driver Grade 1, Authorised Gas Tester &
Entry Supervisor for Confined Space (AGTES) or Authorised
Entrant & Standby Person for Confined Space (AESP).
